FAQ & POLICIES FOR BEAUTY STUDIO INC
The following FAQ and policies pertain to special event hair and makeup services. For additional service concerns, please email us or call 1-800-243-2240.
Upon reserving any future hair and makeup services, a 50% deposit is due upon booking, to guarantee date/time held for services. In an event of a cancellation or change to a reservation, scheduled services cannot be cancelled or exchanged within the same week of the reservation (or 2 weeks for holiday reservations). If a client fails to cancel/change services prior to 1 week of the service date (2 weeks for holiday dates) the scheduled services would still be owed in full.
A 50% deposit must be made upon booking for each person in the party. If additional members are added to the client's party at a later date, a 50% deposit would be due upon reserving services for the person added. Appointments are subject to availability for persons added at a later date than original booking.
If services are changed/cancelled prior to 1 week of the event date, the orginal deposit can be applied towards the remaining balance. If original deposit exceeds remaining balance, the client may receive a refund and/or apply balance towards gratuity.
Confirmation of Services
The client will recieve any/all of the following methods to confirm service date/time: text, email and/or by phone. It is the client's responsibility to report any changes/concerns during confirmation of services.
Day of Services
It is the client's responsiblity to assure the prompt arrival of all members of the party for start of services. In the event of a late arrival, client forfiets the appropriate time for completion of services and service standards. Services will be done to the best of the cosmetolgists ability, given the delayed service start time.
It is the client's responsiblity to notify The Beauty Studio Inc. of the EXACT location that will be traveled to. Please provide complete address and/or gate codes for access to house calls. For hotel/casino on location services, the client MUST notify The Beauty Studio Inc. at least 4 hours prior to service start time of the exact location (i.e. casino tower, specific elevator and/or hotel room number). In addition to location information, client must provide a phone number to be contacted at on the day of services. This phone number will be used by The Beauty Studio Inc. event coordinators and/or The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetologists for proper communication with the client before the start of services. Failure to notify The Beauty Studio Inc. of proper communication method and/or exact location information prior to travel to the location could result in the delay of service start time and the proper time needed for completion of services. The Beauty Studio Inc. is not responsible for service start time delays due to client's failure to notify The Beauty Studio Inc. of client's phone number and/or exact location information.
ALL members of the client's party must be present upon service start time. We cannot guarantee availability for completion of services in the event of late arrival of party members.
The Beauty Studio Inc. recommends that ALL members of the party provide photo examples of the EXACT hair style and/or makeup style that the client would like. The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetologists will give a thorough consultation to the client before the start of services and throughout the service, to assure service satisfation. The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetolgists will do the best of their ability to duplicate style preferences, within abilities to do so. Please note: client needs to find photos of hair styles according to client's hair length. For example, if the photo given to the cosmetolgist is an example of a long hair style and the client has medium length hair, the style will not look exact. The cosmetolgist will explain this to the client and do the best of their ability to give a similar look.
For all formal styles, The Beauty Studio Inc. recommends the hair to be washed at least the day before - as the natural oils in the hair help to hold the style better and longer. The Beauty Studio Inc. provides all styling products needed to hold styles as long as possible. If the client preferrs to wash their hair the day of, The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetolgists will do the best of their ability to style (clean hair);, however, it may not hold as long as hair with natural oils. If the client prefers to wash their hair the day of their appointment, the hair must be completely dry and ready for styling prior to the scheduled appointment. If the client's hair is damp upon service start time (with the exception of blowouts) the client will be charged an additional fee to dry the hair.
It is to the client's reponsibility to notify The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetologists of any allergies prior to all hair and makeup services. For makeup services, please have all members of party having makeup services to have faces clean prior to makeup services. The Beauty Studio Inc. provides all moistuizers and makeup products needed for makeup services. According to client's preference- client's personal makeup may be used, however, it is not guaranteed to last as long or as well as The Beauty Studio Inc's professional makeup lines. The Beauty Studio Inc. uses all professional makeup lines for traditional and airbrush makeup services.
Service add-ons to hair/makeup is available and subject to day of service availability. In the event of service change/add-on requests, the client may discuss this with the cosmetolgists on the day of services.
100% service satisfation is the standard at The Beauty Studio Inc.. Our event coordinators and cosmetologists will do the best of their ability to assure services rendered are to the client's standards. Prior to the departure and/or end of services, The Beauty Studio Inc. cosmetologists will ask each individual client how they feel about their hair/makeup style. It is the client's responsibility to notify the cosmetolgist and/or event coordinator if they would like anything changed prior to the departure of the cosmetolgist. If no notification has been made, The Beauty Studio Inc. assumes that the client is 100% satisfied with their service. Please note: The Beauty Studio Inc. has a strict "no refund" policy for hair/makeup services received for events. It is the client's responsibility to notify The Beauty Studio Inc. prior to departure if they are unsatisfied.
Remaining balance(s) are due upon completion of services.
For the client's convenience, gratuity may be added to a credit card upon checkout.
